ESOL Lecturer – Doncaster College
2 Roles Available | Immediate Start | Temporary
We are currently recruiting two ESOL Lecturers to join Doncaster College on a temporary basis, covering long‑term sickness. These roles are to start ASAP and are expected to run until the end of June.
Available Positions
  • Post 1: 30 hours per week
    Monday to Thursday, 08:30–17:00
  • Post 2: 20–24 hours per week
    Monday to Thursday, 08:30–13:30
Some evening delivery will be required as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging ESOL lessons to adult learners
  • Plan and prepare inclusive, learner‑focused sessions
  • Assess learner progress and maintain accurate records
  • Support learners to develop English skills for daily life, work, and further learning
  • Work collaboratively with college staff to ensure a positive learner experience
Requirements
  • Qualified ESOL Lecturer or equivalent teaching experience
  • Experience teaching adult ESOL learners
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and commit to the duration of the assignment
Pay Rate
  • £23–£25 per hour, depending on experience
